Safe Powerboat Handling Course
Safe Powerboat Handling is an entry-level course for youths and adults covering the practical skills and knowledge required to operate a powerboat safely. It is designed for those just learning how to operate a powerboat or wanting to improve their hands-on skills. This course includes classroom and on-the-water training by certified U.S. Sailing Powerboat Instructors and upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Safe Powerboat Handling Certification from U.S. Sailing.
This course has also been accredited by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as meeting their required standards for a safe boating education course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will also receive a NASBLA Course Completion Card demonstrating that you have completed an accredited safe boating education course.
