 U.S. Sailing Certification Courses
Combination Course
Combination Course of Safe Powerboat Handling & Safety and Rescue Boat Handling (with an optional Race Support Boat Endorsement). This combination of certification courses covers the required practical skills and knowledge for each of these certifications. This course includes classroom and on-the-water training by certified U.S. Sailing Powerboat Instructors and upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Safe Powerboat Handling Certification and a Safety and Rescue Boat Handling Certification from U.S. Sailing.
This course has also been accredited by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as meeting their required standards for a safe boating education course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will also receive a NASBLA Course Completion Card demonstrating that you have completed an accredited safe boating education course.

| Prerequisite: |
None. However, it is strongly recommended that only experienced powerboat operators attend this intensive course, as novice operators will likely have difficultly absorbing the full curriculum and completing the combination course exams.
